Evangeline Camille Hudson is Born!!!

May 1, 2008 at 3:05AM our little bundle of joy entered our lives several weeks early but we can understand why she wanted to join the party.  At 5 lbs 8 oz and 18 1/2 inches long she is a long and skinny little girl.  Emilie is doing well after the C-Section.  Today (Saturday) the epidural was removed and M started standard pain medication (Motrin).  With no more plastic tubes attached M was able to get a shower "the best ever" in her words and go for a couple of walks around the hospital.  I have been helping where I can especially during feeding times.  After Evangeline is frustrated with the little she gets from nursing, then it is my turn to take over and feed our little one.  Oh what fun it is to provide for one so eager and happy to be fed.
